Driving fun for vintage cars in Carinthia

Mountain adventure Villach Alpine Road for vintage car fans, convertible and enjoyment drivers

It’s in the nature of things that a mountain road, which doesn’t primarily lead from A to B via the fastest route, has a special charm. The journey is the reward – a saying that rings particularly true for vintage cars on Carinthia’s adventure route up to the Dobratsch. The easily drivable alpine road with a length of 16.5 km and a maximum incline of ten percent covers around 1,200 altitude metres with seven bends and 116 turns in an elegant manner. The start of the mountain road is located in Villach-Möltschach while the highest car park can be found on the Rosstratte at an altitude of 1,732 m. The driving experience is even more intense when “pulling the top down” in summer! Experience the multifaceted scenery on and around the Dobratsch practically from a bird’s eye view in a convertible!
