Glocknerbus

Travelling by bus to Grossglockner hiking: an eco-friendly journey

If you’d like to take the bus to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe, you can do so coming from either Salzburg or Carinthia. The Glocknerbus runs from Hinterglemm via Zell am See and from Kaprun via Fusch-Ferleiten up to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe from late May to Late September. A National Park ranger will join you on the bus and share many interesting facts with you. A Postbus service starting in Lienz and Spittal/Drau will bring you to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe and back.
