Cycling and mountain biking on the queen stage to the Grossglockner

Cycling on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road is the ultimate challenge for many two-wheel fans. The road’s 48 km offer everything a cyclist’s heart desires: crisp ascents, delectable descents and truly breathtaking surroundings in fresh mountain air. Talking about which, best use the off-peak times of the day for your bike tour to the Glockner in order to avoid the car traffic on the popular excursion road. Tip: the Grossglockner High Alpine Road leads up into high mountains. Drastic changes in weather and snow in summer are anything but rare. Please bear that in mind when choosing your clothing and wear security equipment with helmet. Now we wish you a good, pleasant ride!
